My name is Alicia Mui. I first began my modeling career at the age of 9, under the guidance of my mother. One of my earliest memories involves portraying a young girl navigating the streets of 1970s Beijing Old Town during the notorious Mao era. Though I couldn't fully grasp the significance of the narrative at that tender age, the experience proved both perplexing and exhilarating, igniting my passion for modeling moving forward.

Much of my childhood was spent on set alongside my mother, where engaging with directors and crew members over the years imparted a wealth of values and personal boundaries in my ethos. Their wisdom has underscored the importance of showing strength and tenacity in the face of adversity, as navigating the intricacies of this industry demands unwavering self-assertion. Above all, I've learned the significance of remaining true to one's authentic self, for therein lies the essence of enduring success.

I am fortunate enough to have a supportive network of family, esteemed model peers, and seasoned colleagues, I am continuously guided along the path to success. Their invaluable mentorship equips me with the resilience to navigate through critiques, comments, and assessments. Moreover, they instill in me the importance of embracing confidence and gratitude for my innate gifts, notwithstanding the rigorous beauty standards prevalent in Asia that I once suffered with detrimentally. Recognizing that mindset is paramount, I am empowered to perceive challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles.

After a hiatus dedicated to advancing my academic career, I returned to modeling two years ago with a renewed passion and commitment to elevate it beyond a mere pastime. Relocating to London, UK, one of the esteemed fashion capitals, proved pivotal in expanding my horizons within the industry. Embracing diverse roles and seizing abundant opportunities, I've enriched my comprehension and outlook on the interconnected realms of fashion. No matter how many jobs I've done, I always come back learning something new and valuable, every set is unique to its own.

The runway afforded me the opportunity to grace myriad unique pieces from global brands, I felt the event was a vibrant hub for fashion aficionados and design enthusiasts alike. The meticulous backstage preparations, coupled with the collaborative energy of diverse teams, culminated in the creation of something truly remarkable.
